Reflection on a Ted Talk video

In the video, the speaker mentioned the two very different types of interview candidates. the first one is referred to as the 'silver spoon' who are engineered for success and attended top universities and has all the criteria met. these people are the elite of society and should obviously get the job.

The second type is called 'scrappers' who suffered significantly during their lives. those people do not attend quality education and are usually financially challenged. Besides, they are also often troubled by either physical or mental diseases.  despite all these unfortunate impacts, they still fight on and do not surrender easily.

The speaker went on and explained the importance of perseverance and how such attributes can play an important role during a person's post-traumatic growth.

In the end, the speaker encouraged future employers to give these 'scrappers' a chance to work for their company.
